Biomutant gameplay trailer – Gamescom 2019

I’m pretty sure that you’ve heard of Biomutant by now. The game was first shown 2 years ago during Gamescom 2017, and since then has been fermenting and fermenting and so far, we don’t have a release date…
Expected to ship in 2019
Gamescom 2019 brought us some more Biomutant news. We were presented with a new gameplay trailer! Although this is great news and got us pretty excited by showing a game that looks pretty close to being done, devs Experiment 101 haven’t advanced with a release date yet.
Let’s hope for the best and expect a release still in 2019. My fingers are crossed, as I pre-ordered the Collector’s Edition more than 1 year ago 🙂 It looks incredible, btw!
“But Bex, what is Biomutant?”
I’m sorry if I assumed you know what Biomutant is. If you never heard of it, it’s an action-adventure RPG and you play as a racoon-feline-kind of creature, with plenty of ninja abilities and a level of customization that is hard to rival with.
You’re small, but “size matters not”! Watch these cute but deadly little things spinning and kicking-ass left and right, and you’ll know what being a post-apocalyptic furry ninja lynx looks like.
More, you’ll be collecting scrap to upgrade your gear and weapons. This is a world where a calamity occurred, destroying all traces of civilization. And you will be the one making choices to save it or let doom take over. There’s a sort of Tree of Life involved, and this is what needs to be saved.
A plague is ruining the land and the Tree-of-Life is bleeding death from its roots. The Tribes stand divided, in need of someone strong enough to unite them or bring them all down…
