Sofa Gamers is back!
Hi peeps!
Just wanted to let everyone know that Beximus (me) is back and the Sofa Gamers project is returning from the ashes! As I stated in the beginning when this all started, I’ve been gaming since an early age:
I’ve been serious about gaming since ages. Since my mom was pregnant with me, to be more accurate. But it was only a few weeks ago that I decided to do something about it (besides playing, of course).
To be honest, I don´t even know what to write about here on the blog. I just know that the right moment to do it is now, I can feel it! Videogames are a part of my life since I can remember and when this venture started a year and a half ago, it was from a place of pure love and appreciation for this artistic medium.
During that period of time, I’ve been blessed to play so many great games, to discover new ones as years pass by, to dive into older franchises when I get nostalgic… Each time I grab a controller (I’ve been only playing on consoles for many years now) I know I’ll enjoy that time with myself, have a ton of fun and just be grateful that once, a human being (or a bunch of them) had this crazy idea of creating something that one day would be called videogames.
As a side note, I now have a little gamer around. My 5yo gamer girl often pushes me during weekends (that’s our agreement for now) to play Rayman Legends, Sonic Mania or Unravel 2, just to name a few. Oh, she loves Crash Bandicoot too 🙂
Sofa Gamers is for us gamers
As I write these words I’m thinking of how good it feels to dedicate time to Sofa Gamers again. To have that feeling, to believe in my core that Sofa Gamers has the potential to be a useful platform for some of us gamers, bringing together passionate and kind people in the medium.
I’ll keep showing the positive aspects of each game I care about, whether is through a Collector’s Edition video (check “The Unboxables” series), by interviewing another fellow gamer (IViews is a series where I interview Gamers and Youtubers), or by sharing that amazing screenshot on Twitter and a fun fact on Instagram.
So, join the ride, bare with me and I’ll guarantee that… that… erm… That at least we’ll be playing as much as life allows (same applies to you, I suppose).
Game on!
Speaking of gaming so much got me thinking that it’s time to go back to my PS4 Pro and enjoy some Assassin’s Creed Odyssey as Kassandra (the biggest kick-ass character of 2018 – yes, I’m a huge Kassandra fan), slay some cultists, ride the beautiful Greek landscapes with my faithful Phobos and take a ton of cool pictures (I’ll keep sharing them here and here). Here’s one of my latest shots of her.

Oh, one final thing. Could you tell me what kind of stuff you care about when it comes to videogames? In what sort of content do you mainly invest your time, when surfing the web for videogames?
