Mass Effect: Andromeda – Collector’s Edition Nomad – The Unboxables

Mass Effect: Andromeda is a helluva game! You can try to convince me otherwise, but let me warn you upfront: you’ll fail!
The Nomad
I’m a sucker when it comes to Collector’s Editons in videogames (you probably realised that… especially if you’ve seen my original series “The Unboxables” on our YouTube channel). I already stopped fighting it. So when I knew that MEA had one and the Nomad was the highlight, oh boy… I needed to have it!
In case you’re wondering what the heck is the Nomad, you’re probably new to Andromeda. Simply put, the Nomad is an all-terrain exploration-focused land vehicle that you’ll use when playing the game. You can upgrade it with different skins, perks and a ton of other stuff, so if you want to learn more about it in detail, go here.
What makes the Nomad so special is… well, many things to be honest. One of my favourite is its kick-ass look! I mean, you gotta admit is pretty well designed. Secondly, you can take this sweet ride pretty much anywhere you want (except toxic waters or you’ll fry). Remember when I mentioned “all-terrain exploration-focused land vehicle”? It’s true. Third, well… try playing MEA and then we’ll talk; or just keep scrolling down and see the die-cast model that comes with this Collector’s Edition.
A Collector’s Edition straight from Andromeda
When it comes to collectibles, I always prefer quality over quantity. In fact, that’s something you should apply in any area of your life. If the material is more noble, if the attention to detail is a key aspect of an item and the paint job over the roof top, then you’ve chosen wisely. Always be mindful of (at least) these 3 key elements when purchasing a statue, figure or similar. The future will prove you right.
Last week, I uploaded a new video to my original YouTube series “The Unboxables”, where I show you the ND1 Nomad and the steel-book of MAE that comes with it. It’s a rather peculiar Collector’s Edition, because it doesn’t come with the game. That’s not very common, although I do have other 2 Collector’s Editions where the same happens (I won’t tell you which, you’ll have to find out watching the series; the best to do it is subscribing to our channel and smashing that bell button, so you can get notified whenever we upload new content).
Seeing is believing
Rather than just explaining every spec of the Mass Effect: Andromeda – Collector’s Edition Nomad, the best you can do is see it for yourself. I can be suspicious, but I really love this edition! It’s one of the most treasured ones I possess, mainly because of how much this game means to me (I wrote my first impressions about it when I started playing and the respect and gratitude feeling for this title has only increased).

When I recorded this video, I also took a few shots of the Nomad. To make it more appealing and with a sense of “greater good”, I composed the pictures with some Funko Pops from Mass Effect: Andromeda and the book “The Art of MEA”. Here’s the result, I hope you guys enjoy it 😉
