For Honor – Apollyon Edition – The Unboxables

Today I wanna bring you one of my passions, Videogames Collector’s Editions! That’s right, not only am I a gamer but also a collector.
I’ve been collecting statues and figures for more than a decade now, and since 2-3 years ago I’ve started to invest in videogames editions of these beauties. And today, I bring you For Honor Apollyon Edition!
For Honor
For Honor is a game that dates back to February 2017, completing 2 years on the 14th of this month. I played the Beta versions of the game, really enjoyed it. The mechanics were challenging but worked perfectly taking in consideration that you’ll be playing as a warrior. When the game launched, criticism followed, mainly due to micro transactions. One should think that, by now, after so many failed attempts at gamers to make them pay for micro transactions would make devs drop it for good. But no. Ubisoft, being the behemoth it is, should know better.
But also because they’re Ubisoft, they realised the mistake (after probably a ton of complaints and feedback) and went to fix things after a while. Today, For Honor is a different game. If you wanna watch my mini-series during a free weekend a while ago, go to our YouTube channel.
Apollyon
If you’re unfamiliar with For Honor, let me tell you a bit about Apollyon, the subject of this post. She is a nasty, kick-ass, powerful character, that’ll scare you just be showing herself a mile away from you! Why? To start with, she is huge! And nasty (I say it again because she really is). There’s a sense of mystery mixed up with being wise in her… can’t really tell why, but you feel it when you hear her talk. She is one of the main figures in the single player story in For Honor, and if you want know more about her background (and how she looks in “statue mode”), check our video from “The Unboxables” series, right below.

Alright, here are a few shots I took after the unboxing session. They really make a great addition to the unboxing video. Check the level of detail, absolutely stunning! Kudos Ubisoft!
